I unfollowed VRU like a year ago when they kept posting weird video gens of their hyperrealistic foxgirl skating or killing metal gear soldiers while rambling about the internet "atomizing" and having to get ahead of the curve on a hyperwar of making more outputs

Sure, I don't think every single person who's ever used AI has a hatred for the independent creative scene. But if you're running a space whose purpose is to showcase human creative endeavors, or to encourage human creativity, it seems like such a mistake to have AI feature so heavily there.
