🎃 Happy Halloween 👻

on my grocery adventure last night, I found the squeezable bag of condensed milk that dnp bought. absolutely was not going to spend $3.38 on that tiny bag when the cans were over a dollar cheaper. but what confused me is why did their can of condensed milk not have a tab?

i don't ever bake so i didn't know this. the 'eagle brand' cans have a pull tab on the can but the generic brand cans do not. so not only did they spend about 50¢ (37p) more on condensed milk in a squeezy bag, the same brand has a can with a pull tab 😭

i also did not buy the eagle brand because the generic version is like 40¢ cheaper but lacks a pull tab. but i also live here so i do have a can opener.

should also note for non-US bloomfs that they went to target based on the brand on the can. I don't fw target anymore because of their rollback on DEI and refusal to speak about ICE and DHS raiding Minneapolis in 2025 bc of Tr*mp. I'm not mad at dnp either because I don't expect them to know that.
