i prototype my UI by laying it out in CSP so i have a strong idea of what it'll look like in the final game, and then implement it from there. but in terms of actually learning how to use screens/screen language... looking at other games' UIs can really help.

*specifically the code for it lol as for the mike-a-like minigames, that was mainly @azxiana.com's doing! you'll have to ask her... though for the therapy minigame (which i did handle), that used a simple scoring system. mike-a-like's code is open-source, so you can take a peek at what we did!
