With all my heart I hope Talarico wins, but this kind of thing has to stop; it is one of the reasons so many Democratic voters hate the Democratic party. And it's not a Talarico problem; it's a Democratic consultant-class problem.

Obviously it's really bad but I think the appeal to normalcy is just absurd here, "US-backed horrible leader finds refuge in the US" has been the normal thing

the difference isn't the youth, it's the ADULTS. what france has that we do not is a labor movement and a militant organizing infrastructure activated every few months. this talking point is just another way to blame young americans for the dumpster fire they inherited and are struggling to survive
