I'm noticing a slowly growing trend of mixed media in indie animation recently and I wonder where that has stemmed from? It's sort of neat but I gotta be honest it feels a lil gimmicky

Ibispaint recently had an big update and it made it harder to leave the program Literally the only downsides are canvas size+layer ratio and things being locked behind premium Other than that, it’s practically perfect but I do have to admit I am going to have leave it eventually for a better app

Yeah everything slows down by like a ton I try to keep to a strict 2000x2000 canvas It’s either small canvas, lots of layers or big canvas, barely any layers It can also crash when it slows down

Not that it’s a bad program or anything It’s pretty decent for something that’s free if you’re not counting premium
