The Holbrook line fell into disuse before other lines further to the west, presumably because the town's actually on the Hume Highway, which gives a more direct connection to Sydney.

I reckon this here is that same set of points the loco in the 1961 pic was facing. The crane is just to the left and behind me, and I am looking in the up direction.
