I should not have to think about this when just trying to get dinner! I shouldn't have to think, "I better make sure they aren't putting my photo into the plagiarism machine." Even if I didn't hate AI, the idea of paying $20 for an AI photo of yourself is asinine.

I do not blame the underpaid worker just doing his job. We just shook our heads and said, "No, thank you." I think he could tell by the wrinkling of our noses we we not happy with it. But the fact they do it at all with no warning fucking sucks.

NYC was great, but the last restaurant I went to really tried to kill the vibe. They offered a free photo which is cute and, of course, had ones you could pay for. One of the ones you could pay for was an AI version of the free photo. Without telling us, they ran our photo through AI. 😐
