I think people in the future are going to ask us hard questions about why we should value the process of discovery, and why we should value learning, in large part because of all this messaging. So it’s time right now to introspect and figure out our own reasons, for those future humans.

This is a really important point. Plus, I suspect they may also ask us all around at this time: why and how we acted and what steps we took to maybe stop this getting this bad. I also think the AI bubble is a bubble, so we must not bail them out when they come begging.

The AI bubble is not just a bubble like the housing/subprime mortgage bubble. It's a far more malignant bubble, based on stolen property & lies with the aim of rendering human intellectual labor meaningless (if not human life itself).
