I feel like we don't have modern nerd culture (and Star Trek doesn't survive) without Patrick Stewart. Before TNG, it seemed like the original series was remembered as campy 60s fun, almost like Adam West Batman. Then he's cast as Picard & the acting goes from 0 to 100. And the show was legit GOOD.
