I mentioned a single payment processor in a comment and immediately a bot cloned my Bsky profile, blocked me so I couldn't see it, then tried to message my oomfs for $ 🫥

I was very lucky to have immediately noticed this because I already have him added and he literally does not talk like this lmao. But please be aware, scam bots are going above and beyond to be shitty rn.

So, head’s up to artists, not only should you apparently avoid saying “c*mmissi*n” on here so as not to be flooded by bots, but if you’re an artist involved in a conversation about this on a public post said bots will Literally Clone You On Discord To Message Your Clients. (Cloned my friend here.)

My "favorite" part of that is if someone does fall for a bot scam like this, they'll likely blame the person who's being impersonated without realizing it was a bot. It's really unfortunate to see this shit happening to our artists.
