I am as (let's call it) disappointed by this motion as you are, but the idea that a political party cannot discriminate on the basis of ideological belief seems strange to me. That is literally what they are for.

People seem to understand that it is epistemic vandalism to associate childishness with egalitarian ideals - wealth tax, living wage, housing for all etc - but can't quite seem to get it that it is also epistemic vandalism to see childishness, and children, as bad things in the first place.
