I want to reiterate that I personally don't actually use AI all that much. I'm not "AI pilled" in any meaningful sense. But the numbers speak for themselves! People are using this stuff and willing to pay big money for it!

I think there was a pretty big delta in quality within the genre that gets mushed together by people without taste. Lumineers were legitimately good *and* catchy in a way that I don't think a lot of the other bands reached. Meanwhile Of Monsters and Men had 1 decent album and just fell off a cliff
