whoah, apparently DeepSeek V4.1-Flash has only 4 KV-producing layers out of 40 total layers. The rest share KV cache, so substantially reduced memory utilization & compute! to support 1M context, it only requires 0.9 GB(!!) for a 552B model comparison: Qwen 3 8B needs 144 GB
