You can only shove it down people's throats so far until they reject it and go elsewhere. Then, nothing you do to recoup your loss will work. Imagine paying $300m for a dot com domain only for everyone to reach your site by google lol. If you're a small company in 2002, you just get bought
Show PostThe Internet flourishing despite whether or not everyone had their own domain or "dot com address" is WHY that entire push exploded. Wish search engines, hyperlinks and bookmarks customers don't need to remember to access your website. AI is so inaccurate and insecure that everyone fucking hates it
Show PostAs well, a lot of this ubiquitousness is being artificially pushed by like 4 companies trading $20 back and forth, so as people are waking up to how useless AI is and how little it does- just like the blockchain, remember that?- they're realizing they won't see returns from that investment
Show PostThe dot com bubble, just like the AI bubble, was about selling some overhyped emergent tech related thing to ignorant corporations so they'd pay millions or billions to incorporate it, hoping there'd be returns that just never happened
