Buy Saint John's Wort tablets. Shrinks try to force psychotropic medication. They tell you St John's Wort is a hoax. I think you'll find it is a natural antidepressant. Usually available at any pharmacy or vitamin store.

There's no easy answer. Perhaps take her somewhere? Either for the day or longer. She may want to feel needed. Give her the chance to do that.
