I feel silly for this vent but I'm going to vent it anyway. When people say "my culture is not your costume" about stuff like gaming or sports fandom, it makes me feel awful because I'm pretty sure you don't GET IT.

Also missing my friend fiercely. I had finally met my Halloween match with someone as bonkers for this holiday as I was. I miss seeing her costumes and decorations, rewatching Over the Garden Wall at the same time. I think a light went out inside me when she left this earth. 🕯️🎃
Show PostI’m hope you guys have a safe and happy Halloween. This is the first year in.. maybe ever that I didn’t buy pumpkins or decorate in any way for my favorite holiday. Been too sad/overwhelmed, which makes me even sadder. A little worried that all my best halloweens are behind me.
