The actual problems facing housing are much more complicated. Someone sent me this @mnolangray.bsky.social post earlier and I thought it laid things out nicely: high-cost areas are a minority. Meanwhile other areas have issues with either poverty or access. mnolangray.substack.com/p/the-united...

In Texas we are beginning to see counties where the early vote so far is surpassing the entire turnout (including early AND election day) from 2022. This is concentrated in Hispanic Counties, along with some of the most diverse urban/suburban areas not far behind.
