It is genuinely disappointing to me when I am speaking to a fellow non-believer who brings up the zodiac or crystals or oils. Strong "we were so close to being on the same page!" energy that always makes me feel deflated afterwards.

like maybe 1% of the population really, truly believes in the law of conservation of matter and energy. they wouldn’t *say* it this way but any interrogation beyond the outer layer would reveal some very important pillar of their whole worldview is in plain contradiction of foundational physics
