i think "Tapestry" is my favorite Picard episode of TNG. "The Inner Light" is an all-timer, and Stewart does phenomenal work in it, but there's this bit in "Tapestry" where he laughs that is something I've kept with me ever since i saw it.

You’re rookie PG who scored at will yesterday and broke the defense down repeatedly? Take the ball out of his hand and make him go stand in the corner so you can get Lu Dort iso possessions!!

Sir Patrick Stewart was pure class in that club scarf. Proper Yorkshire loyalty too—none of this glory-hunting nonsense.

More than any other character – even Spock – Picard *was* Star Trek. Scientist, diplomat, explorer, philosopher. The best of us on a show about the best of what we could, hopefully, one day be. Patrick Stewart elevated the show & the whole franchise. RIP. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...
