It's also my understanding that all their contracts very likely have a (very reasonable) clause where the IP holders can always withdraw their IP if they choose for either specific reasons, or no reasons at all. I think Cote has stated they always have that "ultimate veto" sort of ability.

I believe he has mentioned something to that effect before. He didn't give details on it though so speculation is all we can work with, I suspect it's nothing short of "if these 3 requirements are met then either party may terminate the agreement" which is crazy because chucky was thought to be ok
