Me: ...and I have anti-ICE whistle kits for adults if you want them. The adult: ...what? Six-year old: It's a WHISTLE KIT for when ICE is snatching someone off the street so you can let other people know! Duh! The adult looking at me, crushed that a six year old knows this: I'll have one. Thanks.

A very sweet young man in a skeleton costume told me my anti-ICE sign fell down and picked it up and put it back up again, because “it’s very important we let ICE know that we don’t like them.” Teens are the best 🥰

We helped our friends give out candy for Halloween. Kids surveyed the many candies available; many chose anything but the Peanut Butter Cups that were richly available. I despaired for the youth; the self-abnegation; then our friend reminded me of nut allergies.
