I mean who knows what actually happened but as presented he caused a Traitor to panic so badly he just confessed and without any other obvious strategy seems not unreasonable to take him off the table.

One of my all time favourites. I think it's hard being a traitor from Day 1 and being the only one. I think it kills you eventually (see Maya)

Same. This is why I think Nick is right - I didn't want the Traitors to win in season three, and yet, basically everything from Charlotte getting recruited wasn't very satisfying.
