I’m looking at Andrew Wyeth’s extraordinary early work. He made “Burial at Archies” when he was seventeen. (I did the math three times.) Look at that Blakean sky! The figures like tombstones. The teal house. This is oil, but to me it has the spirit of a watercolor, his primary medium at the time

I had just been thinking about how I didn’t see the gang of spiderwebs I usually see outside of my house around this time of year “This better not be an environmental thing. I hope they’re doing ok,” I thought, though I cannae say I missed them. Well, anyway, guess the spiders heard my thoughts 😐
