When that came out I was living in a rural Oregon town with 2,000 people & three different WS militias. I couldn't watch it because it hit too close to home. Happily by the time I left our legislation push got the DOJ to investigate WS militias in the town & at least one shut down.

The way the movie is written, because of so many movies going this route, it suggests the heroes will have to outsmart the villain. Then, Stewart shows up. Calm. Efficient. No bluster. Clearly effective leader. Not a guy who’s going to be provoked into mistakes. It’s “Oh, they’re FUCKED fucked.”
