My non-verbal ASD son was abandoned by his dad early on & Picard was the man he most admired, bar none. His love for Trek lit his imagination aflame. He did this sketch in high school; he's in college now studying engineering & is in the rocket propulsion group. RIP, Captain. Thank you.

Fucking hell! Patrick Stewart?!? I deeply regret the fact that I never got to meet him in person. Star Trek: TNG has always been one of my top 3 comfort shows and Picard is a huge part of that. My soul is getting weary after seeing all these great people passing and not the terrible ones.
