Trump pining for the era of bank checks reminds me of Spy magazine's "Finding the Cheapest Zillionaire" prank. They created a fake clearinghouse and sent a series of checks to wealthy people to see who would cash the smallest amount. Only Trump and Adnan Khashoggi cashed the checks for 13 cents.
