I do think there is a chance for a realignment coming up, tho. There are a number of people in the Republican bloc that are increasingly unhappy there, and there are a number of people in the Democratic bloc that aren't really happy about who they're sharing with.

Israel’s system isn’t my preferred version of PR (no districts at all). But they have some unique reasons that forming governments is hard (like the taboo on coalitions with the Arab parties). I don’t think a system that artificially entrenches two parties is a good idea!
