It's almost hilarious how these people seem to think that suing is the end-all solution when it's so much more complicated than they think. You can really tell they've never had to go through the process themselves most of the time

Yeah and the hourly cost doesn't even factor in they usually ask for several hours worth of retainer up front. When the guy selling the condo we live in now was trying to back out (the day of the signing, way too late, obviously in the wrong) it cost us $1500 to even -begin- legal action

I never want to have need to touch a lawyer again with a 50ft pole. It’s great that even having a conversation with one you’re conscious of the fact that every minute is costing you money and might be entirely inconsequential anyway
