Painted up those 6mm Blacktrons I made. Turns out painting 6mm Lego men is very fiddly, but I do like how they all look together. Now to print off some more! Oh and, of course, I have included a shot with the previously painted Invader. (Minis 81-85 of 2026)

"The suit itself is a highly modified Mark 2 with the addition of fixed armour plates to the body and limbs and a new heavy armoured helmet. The sloping plates of this helmet were intended to deflect shot to left or right, and was to inspire the Mark 4 and 6 helmet designs."

The source for Mk III background was the Formative Armour article by Rick Priestley, published in the Warhammer 40,000 Compilation pages 19-25. "The Mark 3 armour variant dates from the inner-galactic wars between the Emperor's forces and the inhabitants of worlds close to the galactic core"
