One of my husband’s first years of teaching, a girl in his class started ‘washing’ her MacBook by putting Bath & Body Works scented lotion on it. She did this regularly. She was moisturizing her MacBook.

I think I argued myself back into not really blaming the devs, but still - a public explanation would do a lot to restore trust I mean, that's the thing about ICE being our secret police. Bluesky's offices are in the US. It would be hard not to consider that as a factor, if I was in their situation

Don't be mean to the devs. It would be trivial to hide all posts mentioning banned links, but instead they leave them visible in a manner that, if I were cynical, I'd describe as malicious compliance intended to leverage the Streisand Effect, further spreading documents the state wanted banned.
