Fantastic morning dissecting barn owl pellets! We discovered bones from bank and field voles, field and house mice and shrews, using teeth to identify to species level. One of our favourite events! @wildlifebcn.org

Basil-thyme flowering in Stonepit Close, a former limestone quarry regularly disturbed to provide suitable open-structured grassland. It may be have germinated after the August rain, just managing to bloom before winter sets in. A personal favourite of mine... #wildflowerhour @wildlifebcn.org
