Including the most popular candidates in the midterms like Talarico and Andrews. They doubled down on transphobia when they had absolutely zero reason to do so. They did it because they're cowards who think that the number of people they piss off will be less than the support they gain from it.

I agree with you. It’s exhausting watching people demand unconditional loyalty from trans people while refusing to hold politicians accountable for compromising our rights. Meanwhile, I’m trying to crowdfund my own emergency relocation out of Kansas. Our lives aren’t political talking points.
