It is amazing that crowd will do anything but yell at the people seeking power over their transphobia and paint trans voters as hostile. These people bent over backwards for people like the "honorable Dick Cheney" and other fascists that didn't vote for them. They want an expendable voting block.

I've started seeing cis people telling trans people that "you can just go stealth" in response to our concerns about Democratic transphobia, and even if that were true for all of us - and for many of us, it's not - that is honestly an incredibly gross thing to say. We shouldn't have to.

I'm not really sure why TNG was the first show "for adults" I wanted to watch, or why I latched onto it so hard as a little kid. It would've been in the later seasons that I got hooked. There's almost nothing else from that era of TV I have any fondness for. What a strange, ephemeral gem of a show
