Permanent DST would put sunrise past 8am (when most work and school begins) for 3+ months in most states. Dark mornings all winter would be depressing and dangerous. Amend to permanent ST!

Daylight Savings Time = waking up earlier. That’s literally all that it is. We set the clocks forward, so to maintain our schedules, we have to force our bodies to adjust to starting the day an hour earlier. It sucks!

Literally this. We don’t get MORE sunlight with Daylight Savings. We just get up earlier and start the school/work day earlier so we’re done before the sun goes down (although in the dead of winter, it’s going to go down early either way, because the Northern Hemisphere is tipped away from the sun).
