UK/US dual national. Haven't been to US in ten years. Family there are Trumpies, family here are sane. I'm an old man, but still learning - eg, a new 'lick' for Cripple Creek. Did I mention that in retirement, I've become an enthusiastic muso. And Green.

Show PostNot sure whether the UK monarchy was 'compensated' under this Act but they def should pay in monetary terms too.
Show PostA thought: not going to happen I know, but wouldn't it be a righteous justice to take a percentage or (all really) of the 'compensation' (equivalent to £16 billion! today) from the descendants of the slave owner families granted under the UK Slavery Abolition Act 1833.
Show PostTo them, in their minds, there's no such thing as too much money. Unless someone else has it, of course.
