Just got ejected from a federal building for asking a security guy to stop being so damn rude. Give a man authority over one lousy magnetometer and he thinks he's Benito Mussolini. Not clear how humiliating taxpayers serves the mission. He certainly got a piece of my mind. Totally worth it.

a black bear broke into a Subaru in Juneau this week. apparently, he ripped out the wiring that controlled the locks, so the police couldn't get him out easily. then he started honking the horn. i just thought you should know about this. i don't have a picture of the bear but here's a very big cat.
