The moderation inbox also reaches you no matter where your account is hosted. Until now, we didn't have a way of keeping you informed if your account lived on an independent server (PDS). Now your updates are waiting for you in the Bluesky app.
Show PostUntil now, most moderation updates came by email, and only for the biggest decisions. A label on your post usually came with no message at all. Now you'll be notified about everything from labels to takedowns, and you can appeal from the same screen.
Show PostYou'll also be able to look up your account status under our strike system. If you’re at risk of permanent suspension, you'll see that in the app, so it won’t come as a surprise. And as older strikes fall off over time, you’ll see your standing improve.
Show PostNew in beta: the moderation inbox. Now you can see the reports you've made, and find out what happened to the content you reported, right in the Bluesky app. Notices about your account and appeals live there too.
Show PostTo try the moderation inbox, enable beta features under Settings, then open Settings > Moderation tools > Moderation inbox. You can choose which notifications you get. It's in beta, so we'll fix problems as we find them, then bring the inbox to everyone. Read more:
