As more people are grasping just how bad an "AI" crash might be, i'll reiterate what I said last year: The biggest players in this "AI" hype cycle have access to or control over our: medical & social security data, banking information & assets, code, military & carceral systems, & more. It's BAD.

Never met Sir Patrick Stewart in person but i did talk to him on the phone once, me & a bunch of people in a hotel bar (long story), & he was kind & funny & genuinely happy to chat at a bunch of nerds over a cell phone for a few minutes. Still, would've loved to meet him, to thank him for everything
