Today’s Malagasy idiom that I didn’t know until I heard my mother use it: “Sasa vodin’ny maro anaka” (butt-washing of the many-offspring-ed) i.e. work that has been done to merely a “meh, good enough” level of quality, due to lacking the resources to do any better. 🇲🇬
