I left tech because of bullying. Nothing about this article is surprising because most leaders I've worked with behave like this, and hire managers that do the same. Berating people is brushed off in the name of 'efficiency', but let's just call it like it is.

I had high hopes that Proton wasn't run by dipshits and was strongly considering them in lieu of Google Services... but man. Not even wanting to TEST and EVALUATE the A/I code? Seriously?! I would expect the central hub for my LIFE and DATA to be thoroughly vetted by top QA engineering talent.

I was seriously considering paying for the full Proton suite and get off the Google environment, but this has put those plans on hold.
