(I'm on record saying, on purely legal-realist grounds, that a genocide conviction is likely if Bibi stays in power and unlikely if he's replaced and there's some visible change in the West Bank or Gaza, regardless of what happened during the actual war.)

They wouldn't be doing this if they had 61 MKs. If Bibi thought he could get Lieberman back and convince some Yashar or Together MKs to defect, he'd be laughing all the way to another four years and an ICJ genocide conviction.

Biggest psyop is, everyone's sure a government supported by Arab parties can't do anything. It's interesting. Fixing the judicial coup? It can do that. Health care? Economy? Education? An inquiry about 7.10? Certainly! So only if expanding settlements is all that matters then it can't do "anything."
