My 28 year old son just spent 18 months of hell before they told us they had no other ideas to help him. We had to watch him die slowly, and his was fully aware the entire time. Brutal. It's the 5th time I've watched this. I hope I'm brave enough to choose medically assisted suicide, if terminal.
