I think more than revenue forecasts it's about predictability. A Battlefront 3 — even one that hasn't even started development yet — has a much stronger chance of hitting its target window than a BioWare RPG. And EA has never understood RPGs!

I also see this further funneling players back to their favorite live service behemoth after being overwhelmed by all the garbage. None of this is good!
