Patrick Stewart was 86 years old but it still feels so shocking that he's died. I grew up a TNG Trekkie in a family of Trekkies so he was a big part of my growing up. As an adult, I appreciated his other performances ('Jeffrey' is a fav!) but most of all, I appreciated his advocacy against DV.
