It's really quite amazing that there exists a group of people who believe Russia went from a tiny duchy surrounding Moscow to being the largest country by geographic area through totally peaceful means, where any wars it fought are just regrettable incidentals to its growth.

I mean, its not a contest but Russia didn't peacefully expand from its pretty small base around Moscow Its conquered a lot and not given 99% of it back And the Uk is a different state now and has been for nigh on 70 years Russia is not, and shows no sign of ever wanting to be
