Fascinating to collect various seaweeds and associates on the beach, after the storms. Not tempted to start pan-listing though.

A lunchtime visit to Eastwell Lake, Ashford in lovely autumnal sunshine. The lake had Mallard, GCG, Coot & Egyptian Geese while a Little Egret was on a partially submerged branch. A corvid flush a Buzzard from a lakeside tree. The church had singles of Blue, Coal & Great Tit, Blackbird & Robin.

Box Bug in Woodbury Park Cemetery today. One of those species that used to be scarce & restricted to a single foodplant but then suddenly became more widespread.

My lifer Holocnemus pluchei along with Uloborous plumipes in a garden centre in Thanet, East Kent today.
