Every year when I close my block for Trick-or-Streets it's direct proof that 99.99% of the people that drive down my street don't need to.

I have been at 2 different bus stops when they were struck by vehicles. It’s terrifying and completely avoidable with a combination of bulb outs and bike/scooter corrals with bollards. In the meantime, I tend to stand behind the bus stop on any street where vehicles are likely to exceed 30 mph.

I’m glad you’re okay, & I can sympathize with what must’ve felt like a very strange situation. Back in Virginia over a decade ago, I had a driver do the same to me on a residential street. I was pushed & had to bang on his rear window to get his attention; I’m still not sure if he even looked!
