I took a statistics class in my public policy grad program, and coming from a science and engineering background it was all a refresher for me, but many of my classmates were *struggling*. It was new, and it was difficult. We never got to p values, but we did get to understanding polling.

The only reason why people can think a brain is "thinking" is because of the illusion of an instantaneous response. If people performed the same neural state changes over a few centuries using paper & pen, at no point in time would anybody believe there is thinking going on.

Classic nonsense about Sec 230. The law says that providers of interactive computer services cannot be treated as the publishers of third party content *specifically because they are publishers*. It would make no sense for a law to immunize publishing conduct in this way if they didn’t publish!
