BioWare's loss has impacted our team as many of us spent over a decade working on their games. While we'll never be able to recapture the glory days exactly as they were, you can find some of the former BW team are still here, still making games, trying to do our roots proud.

Im not really a picture person. So when I went to Edmonton, this is like the only picture I took. A video at 3am, showing the Bioware offices from my hotel room. The three floors that are lit up is BW, and you can barely see the giant animated entrance on the middle floor that would loop trailers

I will not be throwing my weight into a save Dragon Age campaign Its a bit different for ME, but for DA, the people that made that thing you loved has moved on and starting to heal. And I want to- what- yell that they should go make me a game for a company that disliked them on a good day?

Anyway, im done being sad. I mourned 2 years ago. Im looking forward to DA day. And dual wields cheese wheel being delivered. And a new episode from @northmiststudios.bsky.social next week. Im looking forward to updates on fics ive been reading, random fan art people post and replaying games.

I want to take a moment after the chaos of today to say something about the fandom, and bring up a post from former Dragon Age writer @thatotherwriter.bsky.social It was posted over a year ago when the DA team was laid off, but still applies: Dragon Age isn't dead because it's yours now.
