There is certainly some utility in these annual tide outlooks... I made and shared these on January 2, and called out October 27 and surrounding days then, long before before knowing what the weather would be like this week.

October 24th, 2001: A widespread severe weather event brought damaging winds and tornadoes to numerous states, from Arkansas to Pennsylvania. Twenty-five tornadoes were confirmed, seven of which were significant (F2+). The worst damage was produced in Michigan and Indiana. Two people were killed.
